It has the largest screen at this time, 15.6″ for an under cabinet TV. Frankly speaking a TV of that size is already worth the price without the other features. FM and AM radios work nicely with clear channels coming in. The dvd player also worked fine with a clear picture.

There is also an audio/video input jack for video games, vcrs or other av sources. You can plug in video games into the unit too. That way, you can have your kids or grandchildren in your kitchen with you watching over them while doing your cooking with them in sight.

Installation is easy and the screen swivels easily to where you want it to be. It comes with a swivel screen and you can turn it to whatever position you want and can be folded up when not in use and it doesn’t take up any space in that position.

It’s compact and comes with an auto tuner making searching and storing channels a breeze. if you have digital cables, the pictures are really good, better than the standard tv channels that you receive through a standard tv antenna.

The good thing is the cutting blade doesn’t touch the food so there isn’t a need to clean up the mess unlike others and you also don’t have to deal with corroding blades. It does a good job quietly, leaving no sharp edges after cutting and no metal shavings. Opened cans can actually serve as stationery holders for pens, pencils rulers and such. Just a thought for putting cans to other usage rather than simply disposing them.

It comes with a chrome-metal handle not some cheap easily breakable plastic handle. You can easily press the handle down with little effort and it starts cutting, silently. Even those with bad arthritis in the hands have reported that it’s the easiest can opener they have ever used. And there isn’t a need to hold the can at the bottom too.

You will need to hold the lever down to work the can opener until it is done opening which you will be able to tell by listening out for the slight change in motor pitch. This is a good safety feature and stabilizes the whole unit in my opinion. Of course there are some who will disagree with me on that.

Pros of the EZ Off Jar opener

It’s low profile and easily installed under a counter/cabinet as it is meant to and out of sight. However, you may want to install it backwards so that the teeth do not face you. It doesn’t make a difference really since it’s so easy to use and aligns with cap of the jar easily and you only need to feel to know that it’s in place.

The EZ Off Jar opener comes with saw teeth on side to grip the cap of the jar you are trying to open and you can see them in the picture here too. The teeth are designed in such a way that you cannot accidentally tighten the lid of the jar instead of opening it because turning the jar in the wrong direction will cause it to slip.

Cons of the EZ Off Jar opener

The teeth are sharp are sharp and could cut you if you are careless but that has yet to be reported so far. It can and will damage some lids that it opens leaving marks, dents and jagged edges but that is only usually the case on the tightest lids.

This is part of the product’s design and cannot really be faulted for it. You have to accept it or opt for a different  product altogether.
